Department of Inspections

1. Duties and responsibilities of the
Department of Inspection are:
1.1. Issues Annual Inspection Plan in the
fields of police management, defined
under the Law on PIK;
1.2. Carries out inspections in Kosovo
Police, with own initiative or with an
order of the Minister;
1.3. Ensures information from police
managerial fields, through authorized
methods for obtaining and providing
them;
1.4. Analyses and assesses performance of
duties from the police structure;
1.5. Drafts inspection reports based on
reporting standards, by including therein
the findings, conclusions and
recommendations.
2. Head of the Department of Inspection
reports to the Chief Executive of PIK.
3. This department consists of the following
divisions:
3.1. Division for Analysis, Planning and
Quality;
3.2. Division for Inspection and Reporting.
4. Number of employees in the Department of Inspection is fourteen (14).
