Division for Investigation of Organized Crime and Corruption
1. Duties and responsibilities of Division for
Investigation of Organized Crime and
Corruption are:
1.1. Handles cases assumed to implicate criminal offences, with special emphasis
on organized crime and corruption, police
officers within all police structure of the
central and local level;
1.2. Carries out criminal and disciplinary
investigation and applies covert
investigative measures authorized by
competent authority;
1.3. Applies the integrity investigation as
an investigation technique or method in
view of discovering the offenders of
illegal acts;
1.4. Cooperates with the competent
Prosecution office in the field of
investigations;
1.5. Ensures and assesses intelligent
information for operational needs;
1.6. Cooperates in ensuring appropriate
technical support in view of
investigations;
1.7. Drafts reports on investigations and
criminal charges, depending on the
investigation result.
2. Head of the Division for Investigation of
Organized Crime and Corruption reports to
the Head of Investigations Department.
3. Number of employees in the Division for
Investigation of Organized Crime and
Corruption is six (6).
