The Kosovo Police Inspectorate reacts to several articles published on various websites which mainly refer to the writing of the "Telegrafi"
The Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, for the purpose of informing the public opinion, publishes this communication in a clarification letter regarding the article published on 07.10.2017 initially on the "Telegrafi" portal titled "Applied at the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, “lost diploma eliminated from the process ", and then such articles have been published in other different websites which emphasize that the citizen - the applicant Faton Osmani had lost - removed diploma from his documents submitted to PIK during the process of selection. The Kosovo Police Inspectorate reacts to this article by clarifying the following: The Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (PIK) based on the Budget Law, Strategic Development Plan and Human Resources Growth Requirements, in July this year has opened a vacancy for six civil servants positions and a job vacancy 17 inspector / investigators. Based on this competition, the applicant Mr. Osmani has submitted all the necessary documentation for the inspector / investigator, including the bachelor's certificate. Having fulfilled the criteria foreseen by the competiton Mr. Osmani was on the list of candidates who were candidates invited to participate in the written test, which list was publicated on the PIK official website and in the official announcement table(notice board) at the PIKs building . However, despite the public announcement on the website, he did not appear on the given date and place, and this implies that the same could not participate in the other testing stages. Therefore the news that “lost diploma, eliminated from the process", is untrue. All this has been clarified during the meeting that Mr. Osmani had with the officers of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo at the PIKs building in Hajvali. Based on this we consider that public opinion should be informed correctly, as the notices that PIK has lost one of the candidates / applicants diploma its untrue and Mr. Osmani did not appear to participate in the written test despite the public announcements made by PIK for this writing test.
